Upstairs at the Masque Bar Barbican, 1–5 Long Lane, EC1A. If you're coming by tube, turn right out the station, walk around the corner and it's straight in front of you.

Entrance is £3 the show starts at 20.00 come along and sign up for a floor spot from 19.30 onwards. Bar closes late.

Niall Spooner-Harvey will be plugging his new book and delighting us with samples of his literary talent.

Joe Campbell will be Bob Dylaning it with harmonica and guitar. Bring your own kazoo.

And bring a coat, the air conditioning kicks ass.
