Pure&Good&Right in Leamington Spa: this Sunday, April 15th

PURE&GOOD&RIGHT at the Fox, Leamington Spa

Sunday 15th April
7pm onwards for poets & performers.

This month's poetry night in the elegance of Leamington Spa sees Rob Gee, old hand on the performance circuit, and young blood Melinda Deathgoth taking their turns in the P&G&R spotlight, under the tender care of tall MC Sean Kelly.

You too can step up to the mic for a few minutes if prepared to pay the £3 entrance fee and listen to everyone else's strange and bitter offerings ... this is Open Mic Poetry, you know the score.

I shall be there myself, for this is my local open mic, or as local as it gets in rural Warwickshire. Maybe see you there too and hear some of your work?

Click image to enlarge slightly. [It won't do any good, because I compressed it too much to be read comfortably without a magnifying glass, but it sounds better than just saying 'oh crap, no one can read this'.]

It all kicks off at about 7.30pm - early, I know, but this is a Sunday - though you need to be there NEARER 7PM if you want to read. Where the place? At the Fox, Clarendon Avenue, Leamington Spa (near the top of the Parade). Bring plenty of readies for drinks too, this is a posh pub ...
