The Big Word is back, with one of its finest line-ups this season:
We see the return of Big Word founder and "godfather of Scottish performance poetry" (The Scotsman) JEM ROLLS, fresh from a year away touring Canada and India.

TIM TURNBULL - Winner of the inaugural £10,000 Arts Foundation Award for Performance Poetry (yes, they give awards for it now :) and generally regarded as one of Britain's top spoken word artists.

Fringe Festival favourite LUKE WRIGHT also features, showcasing work from his new one-man show (the debut of which can be caught at the 2007 Fringe) "Poet & Man" ... Founding member of 'poetry boyband' Aisle 16, Luke has toured extensively and does other very fun things for a living, like coordinating the Poetry tent at the Latitude Festival and co-writing a soon-to-be-published book with JOEL STICKLEY entitled "Who Writes This Shit?" A must-see (before he gets too expensive to book!!)

TRIBAL TONGUES - Dundee's fast and furious double-act lay into Tony Blair, Basil Brush and shellsuit-stereotypes with vim and verve....

PLUS music from JED MILROY.

Hosted by Jenny Lindsay "Leading Scottish performance poet - sings beautiful ripostes to the flotsam and jetsam."
