Slounge is the Brain Child of OCM (Oxford Contemporary Music) who have collaborated with Hammer & Tongue, OVADA and the Jam Factory to bring you events that give you the chance to get right up close to see and hear some of the freshest and most engaging music, film, poetry, live and visual art from a host of top talents from Oxford, the UK and abroad in the relaxed setting of the Jam Factory café and gallery.

Thur May 17th sees Music: Cathode:: Poetry: Mark Gwynne Jones:: Live Art: Brian Catling :: + DJ Cathode's rhythm-driven glitched-up melodic electronica will have you thinking as much as you dance, and dancing as much as you think.

'Mark Gwynne Jones is to poetry what The League of Gentlemen is to television.' Independent. Working with film and music, he's a powerful act capable of transforming the mundane into magical landscapes.

Brian Catling is a poet, sculptor, performance artist and professor of fine art at the Ruskin School of Drawing & Fine Art. He's made installations and performed across the world from Greenland to Australia.
