Jane, we met at Poet's Cafe last Thursday and I promised to leave you a comment, to prove that someone read this mine of poetic info! Loved your poems that night (some of which I recognised from the clips on your website) and a big thanks again for clueing me up to poetry in Reading with the site!
Hey Danny! Good stuff, I didn't think you'd remember.
Make sure you write some poems yourself and get back there for that open mic - or start your own, for the younger crowd! All you need to kick off with is the use of a reasonable mic & amp, a friendly pub or club owner, and some posters. Your local Arts lot might be able to help you out with some of that.
