Glasgow: Last Monday at Rio

June 30
The Rio cafe, Hyndland Street
Glasgow G11 (Kelvinhall tube)

Eight pee em til ten-fifteenish. Admission Free.

Graham Fulton is our headline act this month at Last Monday. A poet of some pedigree, committing to paper a take on our city which is true to life in love and lust, from snapshot stills to snarling observation. Anyone who has ever grafted in an office will recoil in ghast recognition as he bends his wit to life in the work-pods.

First hour of the evening is open mic. Cairns is your compere. Anyone wishing to read, speak or perform should contact robin.cairns@btconnect.com
I`m still looking for a body to do the "Dive In" spot this month. This is where someone with an axe, hatchet, penknife or small item of cutlery to grind may get up and give us the benefit of their opinion for a few minutes. Polemic not poetry. Claim this spot please someone.
