Our special guest this month is the fabulous slam-winning Steve Rooney. Not only is he one of the UK's best Slam Poets - having recently won the AllStars Slam at the Cheltenham Literary Festival - he is also a ‘must hear’ poet, even for those of the non-slamming persuasion! Brilliant observational poetry, hilarious takes on everyday life and moments of truly heartfelt poignancy are all mixed with a polished and assured delivery that will have even non-poetry lovers asking themselves why it has taken them so long to discover Steve's talent.
